I’d rate my experience and purchase from Sandy Soil Farms as a 5/5.
I purchased 30 eggs, received 36 and of the 36, not one received was broken over 75% fertility and 28 made it to hatching day….unfortunately my incubator temps were off and was running at 95°F and caused my eggs to develop slower and of the 28 that had fully developed, only 8 made it out of the shell and hatched, of those 8, 5 survived as some were born too weak and in some cases the umbilical cord still attached/hanging out.
That being said, it was totally user error, incubator was not calibrated correctly, and realize had it been, my hatch rate would have been exceptional for eggs ordered through the mail. Awesome Job on SSF’s behalf. Thanks again!
